Marin Independent Journal, I'm a First Soprano with the Marin Oratorio and I'm looking for that special Tenor, Bass or Baritone to share my life with. Though not a professional, I've sung in choirs for years and singing is my passion. I'm also a recently retired Army Major and intelligence officer and have served for almost 16 years all over the US and in farway places as remote as Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan. I'm single, have no children and have never married. Needless to say, I'm a little different--an eclectic blend. I like French cooking and American BBQ, Harley Davidson and Steinway, microbrews and great wine, Robert Frost and rock and roll, Brahms and backpacking. Spiritual rather than religious, I'm a lover of classical film and literature and a bit of an old soul. And for a 43-year old blonde haired, blue-eyed Swiss German girl, I'm told I'm still easy on the eyes. I'm looking for a man with complimentary passions who is intelligent, well-educated, articulate and appreciates the finer things in life while still having his feet rooted firmly on the ground.
